Interfacing Options - New for CyberLAB
If you already use CyberLAB (learn more) for test entry, tracking or results reporting, you'll be excited to learn about these solutions for data management: Flat File and XML data interfaces.
Data Interfaces
Easy, efficient and secure access to accurate results is crucial to providing the best possible outcomes. With various donor data management solutions in the marketplace, laboratories are challenged with providing a cost-effective solution to achieve and provide this service. LABS offers its customers multiple options for electronically submitting results data to your donor data management system.
Flat File Interface
A cost-effective solution is the Flat File Interface from LABS. This multiple vendor single results interface functions as one data stream that outputs appropriate results in HL-7 format to multiple donor data management systems results files within the secure network of the host laboratory under a single directory. A result file will contain all results pertaining to a particular client or group of clients. Each 3rd party donor data management system is provided secure and privileged access to their respective result files only. Methods to acquire and move results data will depend on transfer protocols supported by each 3rd party system.
XML Interface
If flexibility and customization is a requirement, the XML interface is your answer. XML is a Web language that allows for the translation of data from CyberLAB to other data management systems you might be using to store or share important test information. The XML interface can easily be tailored to meet all customer specifications and is a user friendly tool for data migration.
