LABS, Inc., founded in 1979 as Immunological Associates of Denver, was one of the first transplant laboratories established in the United States. Today, as a taxable, non-profit company, LABS is dedicated to helping its clients maximize the gift of donation. With close to 30 years of regulated testing expertise, LABS delivers 24/7/365 unparalleled service to a growing nationwide network of Organ Procurement Organizations (OPO’s), Transplant Centers, Tissue, Eye and Blood Banks, and Biomedical and Stem Cell Product Manufacturers. LABS offers donor eligibility testing for solid organ and bone marrow transplants and for reproductive donations. The laboratory is FDA-registered for screening human cells, tissues, and cellular and tissue-based products (HCT/Ps). The company also provides a comprehensive offering of microbiology tests including product sterility testing.

 

Certifications and accreditations include Clinical Laboratory Improvement Amendments (CLIA), College of American Pathologists (CAP), American Society for Histocompatibility and Immunogenetics (ASHI), Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA), Food and Drug Administration (FDA) registration as a Blood and Tissue Establishment, American Association of Blood Banks (AABB), ISO 9001:2008, and State Licenses, including California, Florida, Maryland, New York, Rhode Island, and West Virginia. LABS is headquartered in Centennial, CO with a satellite laboratory in Philadelphia, PA.
