- Michael Bauer, MD - Corporate Medical and Laboratory Director
Dr. Bauer is one of the world’s leading experts on tissue, eye and blood banking, as well as a pioneer in the new field of personalized medicine. He has been the full-time consulting Medical and Laboratory Director of LABS, Inc. since 2007. He is board certified in clinical pathology and transfusion medicine. Dr. Bauer was previously the Medical Director of Bonfils Blood Center, where he oversaw the serology and reference laboratories, as well as Laboratory Director of Laboratories at Bonfils.
- Elizabeth Hearty - President and Chief Executive Officer
Ms. Hearty has more than 18 years of experience in financial and business management. Prior to joining LABS, Inc. Ms. Hearty was with nonprofit tissue bank AlloSource, where she was Chief Financial Officer and Vice President. Ms. Hearty has several years experience with regulatory compliance, mergers and acquisitions and reorganizations and business development.
- Bob Brook - Chief Operating Officer
Mr. Brook oversees all operations as LABS, Inc. grows its offerings. He focuses on streamlining processes and efficiencies, evaluating new technologies and supporting the needs of customers at LABS. Mr. Brook boasts an expert track record in managing large-scale operations for a tissue bank, as he came to LABS following a fourteen-year tenure at nonprofit tissue bank AlloSource, where he was the Vice President of Operations.
- Chad Ronholdt, MBA - Vice President of Strategic Development
Mr. Ronholdt leads LABS’ growth into new markets and oversees the development of new proprietary offerings. He has significantly expanded the company’s depth in microbiology, infectious disease, immunological, biologics and medical device testing offerings and has kicked off development into the molecular and cellular biology industries. Mr. Ronholdt has worked in the field of medical devices and biologics for more than 13 years.
- Kim Feitosa, MBA - Vice President of Sales and Marketing
Ms. Feitosa is responsible for driving new sales, growing the current customer base, and fostering a team focused on the customer. She is a senior sales leader with years of experience in sales force management, revenue growth, strategic market planning and customer retention and loyalty. Feitosa was previously the Director of Sales at AmeriPath.
- Ann Niedzinski - Director, Regulatory Affairs & Quality Assurance
Ms. Niedzinski has worked with the company since 1985, and since then she has held multiple management and leadership positions in operations, quality assurance and regulatory affairs. She is currently responsible for LABS’ regulatory and operational compliance and quality systems. She has earned credentials as a registered Medical Technologist, MT(ASCP)and is a Certified Histocompatibility Specialist, CHS(ABHI).
- Jennifer Nelson - Controller
Ms. Nelson was hired by the company nearly 2 decades ago (when it was known as Immunological Associates of Denver) as an accounts payable clerk. She worked with the laboratory through its evolution to Laboratories at Bonfils and eventually to LABS, Inc. Ms. Nelson served as Assistant Controller until her promotion to her current position of Controller.
